Sai Pallavi has not issued any public statement supporting the CJP protests. The report published by Deccan Chronicle on 23 July 2026 claiming otherwise is false and without basis.
As an independent fan network, we fully respect Sai Pallavi's personal choices and decisions. Whatever position she chooses to take, or chooses not to take, on any matter is entirely her own. We stand firmly behind her right to remain private and focused on her work. Amplifying a statement she has never made is both inaccurate and unfair.
On 18 July 2026, during the Pratham Sankalp event, Sai Pallavi's presence and demeanour were widely appreciated. Five days later, on 23 July, Deccan Chronicle published a report linking her to the CJP protests. No evidence of any such public statement from her has been found. Despite multiple emails sent to the editor and web administration team of Deccan Chronicle requesting clarification or correction, no response has been received. The absence of a reply in a matter affecting an individual's public image is deeply disappointing.
Following the release of the Ramayana trailer on 30 July, a section of politically polarised commentary began targeting Sai Pallavi. References were made to the unverified claim that she had supported the CJP protests, and this was used to question her suitability for the role of Sita. What began as online criticism escalated into sustained trolling and a coordinated hate campaign, all rooted in a report that remains unsubstantiated.
We strongly condemn the publication of unverified information that has caused unnecessary harm. Responsible journalism requires verification before publication, especially when the subject is a public figure who has consistently maintained a low profile on political matters.
Sai Pallavi has always preferred to let her work speak for itself. She continues to focus on her craft and remains silent on matters outside it. As her admirers, we believe the public record should reflect facts, not assumptions.
